I'm based in Ithaca, in the Finger Lakes Region of New York, and I have a particular soft spot for this community. I’m drawn to this region’s creative, intentional, and genuine spirit, and I find those same qualities in my best clients, wherever they are in the world.
I've been doing this work for over 20 years, and have worked with both small one-person shops and large corporations. What I've learned is that the best websites come from the same place as the best craft: a blend of technical mastery, intentional design, and functional execution.
I love working with people who make things with care. Artists, makers, independent creatives, and solopreneurs who put real thought into what they do and want their website to reflect that. People who are their business, the way I am mine.

Yes, and I do it all the time. I work fully online, so location isn't a barrier. I have clients all across the US. If you're here in Ithaca, great. If you're in Seattle or Miami, also great.

That's what the discovery call is for. We'll spend 20 to 30 minutes talking through your project and goals. There is no commitment at this point. The conversation is to figure out whether working together makes sense.

It starts with the discovery call. We’ll talk about your needs and what I offer and if we are a good fit. If we decide to move forward, I’ll send you a contract and invoice for your deposit.
Once that is signed and paid, we move into the prep phase. You’ll get your client homework checklist and access to the client portal. We’ll start gathering everything we need to build the site.
Then comes the setup phase, where we go over what you have, fill in any gaps, and make sure we’re aligned before I start building.
The design phase is when the magic happens, and I put together your site, using the information gathered in the prep phase. Once it’s ready, we do a review together, making any final adjustments, and launch. We’ll also do a live training walkthrough so you can feel confident maintaining your site on your own.
Post-launch there is a 2 week support window for any questions or small tweaks that come up.

The design phase is usually two weeks. Total timeline from signed contract to launched site is typically four to eight weeks, depending on how quickly we move through the prep phase together.

Yes, absolutely. Every project includes a live training walkthrough of your finished site. You’ll learn how to update text and images, manage your blog or shop, adjust settings, and anything specific to your build. You'll leave knowing how to run it yourself. I never want you dependent on me to change a photo or update your pricing.

There's a revision window built into the design phase, and there is also a 2 week support window after launch so I can help if you have questions or minor changes. After that, the training means you can handle most updates yourself, though if there is something you can’t figure out, or for larger post-launch work, Design Days are the perfect option.

Because it’s kind of awesome. It is fully customizable, and it really is easy to edit and maintain. Squarespace even offers free support if you need help.

You can absolutely start with just one. Some clients come for web design and add SEO later. Some start with a Discovery Audit of their current site before doing any design work. Some do both together for maximum impact. We’ll figure out the right sequence on the discovery call.

Not necessarily. If you already have a logo, colors, and fonts you love, we can build from that. If you're starting from scratch or your current branding feels off, brand styling is available as an add-on and we can do it as part of the same project before the website build. We'll figure out what makes sense for you on the discovery call.

That is a very common starting point. A logo is a great anchor to build from. We can develop a visual system around it so that everything feels cohesive and intentional.

For website projects, a 50% deposit is due at signing and the remaining balance is due before your site goes live. For SEO services, payment is due in full upfront. For the Stay Found partnership, monthly payments are billed on the same date each month.
